8K cameras for Pottsville Primary

Schools need cameras that capture clear detail across big open areas, and they need them mounted neatly on buildings that weren't designed with cameras in mind. That was the brief at Pottsville Primary.

What we installed

• 8K Hikvision turret cameras

• Mounting worked out to suit each part of the building, so every camera sits at the right height and angle for its area

Why 8K

An 8K camera records far more detail than a standard 4K or 1080p camera. On a school site that means you can zoom into recorded footage and still make out faces and details across playgrounds, walkways and car parks, so fewer cameras can cover more ground.

Why turret cameras

Turret cameras are compact and weather-sealed, with built-in night vision. They don't pick up glare from their own infrared light the way some dome cameras do, so night footage stays clear.
