CCTV Installation — Tweed Heads, Byron Bay & Gold Coast

See what’s happening at your property from anywhere, day or night. Hinterland Security Group designs and installs CCTV systems for homes, shops, offices, schools and strata complexes across the Tweed Shire, Byron Shire and southern Gold Coast.

We’re licensed in both NSW and QLD, with over 11 years installing and maintaining camera systems. Every job is planned around your property, so cameras cover the angles that matter instead of being bolted wherever is easiest.

Home CCTV

Keep an eye on driveways, entrances, side passages and yards, and check in from your phone when you’re away. We install neat, weather-rated cameras with clear night vision, and set up the app before we leave so you know exactly how to use it.

Business & commercial CCTV

Deter theft, check incidents and protect staff. We’ve installed systems for retail, hospitality, laundromats, sporting clubs and schools, including covering large outdoor areas with long-range infrared cameras.

Strata & complex CCTV

Common areas, car parks, entries and bin rooms, with footage that body corporates and managers can actually retrieve when they need it.

Upgrades and add-ons

Already have cameras? We can add new ones to an existing system, replace old analogue cameras with modern IP cameras, or fix a system that was poorly installed.

The equipment we use

We install trusted brands including Hikvision, NYX and Swann, from 4K up to 8K resolution, with options for built-in audio, vandal-resistant domes and wide dynamic range for tricky lighting.

Areas we cover

Tweed Heads, Kingscliff, Pottsville, Cabarita, Murwillumbah, Byron Bay, Ocean Shores, Mullumbimby, Coolangatta, Burleigh Heads and the wider Gold Coast and Brisbane.

Recent CCTV jobs

  • 8K turret cameras at Pottsville Primary

  • Long-range 8K cameras for a tennis club

Common questions

Can I watch the cameras on my phone? Yes. Every system we install includes app access, set up and tested before we leave.

Do the cameras work at night? Yes. We use infrared and low-light cameras, with some models seeing up to 80 m in near darkness.

Can you add to my existing system? Usually, yes. We’ll check what you have and tell you honestly whether to add to it or replace it.

Do you do free quotes? Yes. Call 0410 343 748 or book online and we’ll come out to look at your property.
